Abstract Submission Guidelines

ARUNA Next Gen Stage is a signature scientific session of the ARUNA International Summit 2026, a scientific congress supported by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and the Taiwan Society for Dermatological and Aesthetic Surgery (TSDAS). This session provides next-generation dermatologists, residents, general practitioners, and researchers a platform to present original research and case reports, compete & win recognition, connect with an international audience, and publish their abstracts in the INSDV E-Proceedings. Submissions are accepted in oral and poster formats, covering 3 thematic categories in Dermatology & Aesthetics.

ORAL PRESENTATION

› No rejection — all poster submissions are automatically accepted

› INSDV E-Proceedings — selected posters eligible, by committee decision


A. SUBMISSION

  1. Abstracts must be submitted online only through the official ARUNA 2026 website. Submissions via any other channel will not be accepted.
  2. Extended abstracts must be submitted no later than 30 June 2026. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. No extensions will be granted.
  3. Once submitted, abstracts may not be edited or revised.
  4. Please ensure your email address is accurate at the time of submission. All correspondence will be sent to the presenting author via email.

B. ELIGIBILITY & AUTHORSHIP

  1. The presenting author must hold a valid, confirmed ARUNA 2026 registration prior to submission. Portal access is linked to registration status.
  2. Each presenting author may submit a maximum of one (1) abstract. An author may appear as a co-author on multiple submissions without restriction.
  3. Oral presentation is open to General Practitioners, Dermatology Residents, and Dermatologists within 10 years of specialist graduation. Poster submission is open to all, including Dermatologists with more than 10 years of specialist graduation.
  4. The presenting author must upload a document confirming professional status, such as a specialist certificate for dermatologists, residency verification letter for dermatology residents, or medical doctor certificate for general practitioners, as part of the submission requirements.
  5. The abstract must not have been submitted to or presented at any other national or international scientific meeting.
  6. All listed authors must have reviewed and agreed to the full contents of the submitted abstract.
  7. The research or case presented must be based on scientifically valid and ethically accepted methods. For studies involving human subjects, ethical clearance must be stated. For case reports, written informed patient consent must be stated.
  8. By submitting, the presenting author confirms that all co-authors have been informed of and have agreed to this submission.

C. CONTENT STANDARDS

  1.  Abstracts must be written in English only. Submissions in any other language will not be accepted.
  2. Drug names, devices, and instrumentation must be referred to by their scientific or generic names only. Trade names are not permitted.
  3. Abstracts must fall within one of the following three thematic categories, selected at submission and locked thereafter: (1) Injectables, Fillers & Regenerative Aesthetics; (2) Laser, EBD, Pigmentation & Skin Quality; (3) Surgical, Hair, Body, Intimates & Innovation.

D. FORMAT & STRUCTURE

  1. Abstracts must be submitted using the official ARUNA abstract template (Microsoft Word; Times New Roman, 11 pt, single spacing; A4 page size; 3 cm margins on all sides; saved as PDF).
  2. The extended abstract must not exceed 3 pages, inclusive of references. Submissions exceeding 3 pages will not be accepted.
  3. The abstract file must not contain author names, affiliations, or institutional identifiers. Identifying information must be entered only in the designated fields of the submission form.
  4. Original Research abstracts must follow this structure: Introduction; Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgements; References.
  5. Case Report / Case Series abstracts must follow this structure: Introduction; Case Presentation; Discussion; Conclusion; References.

E. REVIEW & PRESENTATION DECISION

  1. All submitted abstracts will undergo double-blind peer review by experts matched to the relevant topic area and will be evaluated based on scientific merit and educational value.
  2. Abstracts submitted for oral presentation will be reviewed and may be accepted as oral or reassigned to poster presentation. Abstracts submitted for poster presentation are automatically accepted. All decisions by the Scientific Committee are final and not subject to appeal..

F. ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION

  1. Authors will be notified of their submission status no later than 31 July 2026 via email and the submission portal dashboard.
  2. Oral abstracts will be published in the INSDV E-Proceedings (ISBN). Poster abstracts are eligible for INSDV EProceedings subject to Scientific Committee selection and available capacity.
  3. Abstracts that do not meet all submission requirements will not be considered for inclusion in any ARUNA 2026 official publications, including the INSDV E-Proceedings.
  4. By submitting an abstract, all authors confirm compliance with these submission guidelines and all applicable presentation rules.
